On November 9, 2017, the Atakentpark Hotel hosted a meeting on the maintenance and modernization of the housing stock in Almaty. The meeting was attended by the leadership of the Mayor's Office of Almaty, the administration of districts, the Almaty City Development Center, Maslikhat deputies, members of the public council, representatives of the CAO and the CAO association.
«The Almaty City Development Center, as the project office of the mayor's office, is implementing the project «Electronic CAO» which aims to automate the work of the CAO, improve the quality of housing services, speed up decision-making by owners and improve the efficiency of housing control,» said The Chairman of the Board of the Almaty City Development Center, Zhanna Tulegenova.
She also added that Almaty already has a housing management portal and several private portals (Topksk, e-Home). The housing management portal is multifunctional, you can see the map of the CAO, there is feedback, the draft documents are placed for discussion. Now there is active work on registration of CAO, formation of CAO passports, houses, refinement of functionality. The launch of a single platform is envisaged in the first half of 2018.
The «Electronic CAO» project is a transparent work of the CAO, trust and gratitude of residents. People will be able to participate in life at home through online meetings, quickly receive services on application, and, if the work has complaints, assess the quality. The CAO will be able to automate its work, i.e. they will be able to form the budget of the CAO and automatically enter the amount of maintenance costs. You can contact the CAO 24 hours a day, receive alerts and announcements at the post office.
«The project will bring not only social, but also economic effect by optimizing the cost of time and labor, and as a result, generating income. The number of manual operations will be significantly reduced, duplications, accidental errors and abuses will be excluded to 80%, and control costs up to 50%» - Added Zh. Tulegenova.
