Turkestan region interested in Open Almaty experience

On March 2, representatives of the Mayor's Office of the Turkestan region visited the Public Reception Office of Almaty. Aliya Zhaksalikova, a representative of the Almaty City Development Center, presented the work of the city's Open Almaty project to the delegation.

«Open Almaty is a useful and interesting city project that helps residents to solve any issues related to Almaty's life activities. Roads, traffic lights, hatches, lighting, landscaping yards, snow removal - it is convenient that on all these and many other issues Almaty residents can apply to a single window, where their appeal will be registered, directed by competence to the relevant authorities, as well as monitor the timing of the delivery and the quality of the answers. Analysis of appeals, in turn, helps the city's leadership to check and see what worries the citizens most. In my opinion, if the budget and technical base allow, such projects should be implemented not only in large cities, but also in small ones - both the citizens and the state authorities will benefit from this,» R.
