Graduates of the scholarship programs of the Hanns Zaidel Foundation from the Kyrgyz Republic visited the public reception of the Mayor's Office of Almaty «OpenAlmaty» to study experience. The delegation included heads of administration, responsible secretaries of rural districts, deputies and representatives of foundations. The delegation was led by Dr. Max Georg Mayer, project manager of the German Hanns Zaidel Foundation in Central Asia.
During the meeting, the head of the front office of the public reception «OpenAlmaty» Nurlan Zhailaubay spoke about the main activities, about the services provided here, the government agencies involved.
«OpenAlmaty operates on the principle of «one window» where in one office the most sought-after state agencies accept the appeals of citizens, without reference to the authorities. This is especially relevant, given the territorial remoteness of all organizations throughout the city. Now you do not need to spend your time on the road, getting a pass to buildings, hand over a mobile phone, etc. it is enough to come to a comfortable front office, where by the way there is even a playground and solve their problems in one place. In addition, appeals to OpenAlmaty are accepted online and over the phone,» - said in his greeting N. Zhailaubay.
The work of the public reception was also noted by mr. Max Georg Mayer, project manager of the German Hanns Seidel Foundation in Central Asia.
«Kazakhstan has a branch of the Hanns Seidel Foundation in Astana, and we have been cooperating with the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Kazakhstan since 2007. The Academy of Public Administration is the co-organizer of this tour. Our goal is to promote cooperation between the two states and to learn from the best practices of the Mayor's Office of Almaty, so that civil servants from Kyrgyzstan can learn from your experience. I am very impressed, I feel like at home, in Bavaria, Germany. We also have community service centres. The opening of your center shows that the mayor of Almaty puts the priority of the person above all, and I want to congratulate you on a successful project. I wish further success in implementing the policy to ensure the accessibility of the government for citizens!» - said Max Georg Mayer.
