The Almaty City Development Center supports a government memorandum with the ITeachMe state foundation. The organization implements projects to train and employ people with disabilities and is already showing tangible results.
ITeachMe teaches modern digital professions. Program participants master in-demand areas such as UX/UI design, SMM, programming, and mobile photography. Training is conducted in Kazakh and English, with sign language interpretation provided when necessary. The program is designed as a full cycle: from training to support and placement. As a result, some graduates begin earning money and find stable employment.
To date, these initiatives have reached over 1,000 people. Through collaboration with the Almaty City Development Center, this figure is planned to increase. The parties intend to scale the project citywide.
This opens up new opportunities for people with disabilities to gain a profession, enter the labor market, and more actively participate in city life.
