Residents met with employees of the Department of Energy and Utilities at the Public Reception Office of Almaty. Topics such as the transfer of unowned networks to trust management and the opening of individual personal accounts in «AlmatyEnergoSbyt» LLP were on the agenda.
The discussion at the meeting was lively and meaningful. Residents of the streets of Jumabayev and Burundai at Zhetysu district came with problems unresolved for many years in the issues of electricity, water supply, sewerage and others. During the conversation with Nazarov Vladimir, director of the sales department, it was found out that all residents have opened personal accounts, but the quality of energy supply suffers, especially in winter.
This situation was commented on by the acting deputy head of the Department of Energy and Public Utilities, Amangaliyev Yerbolat: «To date, there is a list of networks without owner for which compulsory inventory has been carried out. We will check in what condition and on whose balance are the named networks and, if they are without owner and they have a court decision, then, on the already issued instructions of the mayor, will be transferred to the operating organization. Until a few years ago, such issues were not resolved at the legislative level, and the lines were not taken on balance without repair. But now the rules of the law have changed and all networks are transferred to «Alatau Zharyk Company«. In addition, many former horticultural associations have already been reconstructed.»
Specialists consulted residents on problems in other areas, after which the staff of Open Almaty registered appeals on the application of those who came.
