The Republican Monitoring Group of the External Analysis of the Anti-Corruption Strategy of the Agency for Public Service and Anti-Corruption, headed by Chairman Aigul Solovyova, arrived in Almaty with a working trip.
According to the plan of the working trip, the monitoring group visited the Public Reception Office of Almaty «OpenAlmaty«. During the meeting, the Deputy Chairman of the Board-Leader of «Open Almaty» Zhanna Asanova spoke about the main activities of the center, about the state bodies represented in the Public Reception.
The meeting discussed the most important issues on corruption prevention and automation of public services. The guests paid special attention to communication with mediators. Mediators are professional intermediaries who regulate conflicts between citizens, parties whose services are provided free of charge at OpenAlmaty.
«The OpenAlmaty project is good and works for the benefit of the population. It's very comfortable, cozy. Many services are automated, such as the provision of kindergarten, the transition from one school to another, admission to the first class. There is a book of complaints, which has a lot of positive reviews, but there are also complaints on which action has been taken. We watched presentations on education and architecture. In the sphere of architecture, a lot is done, everything is listed on the map of the city, up to the pretext of communication. All this is done in order to reduce the significantly level of corruption,» said Aigul Solovyova, chairwoman of the monitoring group.
After the public reception, the monitoring group visited Smart Point coworking, where they got acquainted with the activities of information technology companies. There are about 40 companies working here and for convenience coworking works 24 hours a day and seven days a week. There are also located meeting rooms and a sports hall.
