Third-year students from the Management Department of the Faculty of Economics and the School of Higher Business at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University visited the Company to learn about digital city management practices.
The meeting at the ADC was attended by Ruslan Berdenov, Chairman of the Board of the Company, who spoke about the strategic priorities for the city's development and the role of analytics in management decision-making.
During the visit, the guests studied in detail the work of the situation, analytical, and data centers. Specialists demonstrated the digital platforms used: real-time city indicator monitoring systems, BI tools for data visualization, solutions for processing large amounts of information, and internal dashboards for preparing management reports.
The students were shown how data from various sources is aggregated, analyzed, and transformed into specific management decisions.
The guests were particularly interested in the topic of traffic congestion. The students expressed their willingness to get involved in developing initiatives to reduce traffic jams in the city, as well as to offer ideas on other relevant areas of metropolitan development, from urban infrastructure to improving the quality of services for residents.
The work of the Open Almaty project was presented separately as an effective mechanism for feedback between the population and the mayor's office.
Last week, Ruslan Berdenov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company, visited Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, where issues of digital transformation, implementation of analytical solutions, and development of strategic partnerships were discussed.
Previously, the Company signed memoranda of cooperation with Narxoz University, KIMEP University, and the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Company is systematically forming an ecosystem of interaction between the city, science, and the professional community, strengthening the role of analytics and data in the development of Almaty.
