As part of the systematic monitoring of infrastructure projects in Almaty, the monitoring group paid another visit to the Almaty City Department of State Revenue, where the administrative building is being renovated.
The purpose of the visit was to assess the actual progress of construction and installation works, compliance with schedules, and the quality of decisions made at key stages of the project.
The inspection revealed delays in the completion of certain types of work. The contractor was given recommendations on how to speed up construction and address the previously identified issues.
During the monitoring, special attention was paid to engineering systems and the condition of the building's structural elements. Experts noted the need to bring certain rooms and units into compliance with current regulatory requirements, as well as to carry out a set of restoration and protective measures on a number of structures.
In addition, the monitoring group recommended:
• promptly increasing the number of construction personnel at the site;
• reallocating resources taking into account the current criticality of the work being performed;
• updating the work schedule with a focus on priority areas.
It is separately emphasized that all identified issues are of a working nature and are being addressed jointly with technical supervision and design organizations. Control over the elimination of comments and compliance with deadlines will be carried out on a scheduled basis.
Systematic monitoring allows for the timely identification of risks, management decisions, and the sustainable implementation of urban infrastructure projects aimed at creating a safe and modern environment for residents and government employees.
