As part of the modernisation of project management, the Almaty City Development Centre held consultation and methodological events on preventing and combating corruption.
The work is being carried out by the Almaty City Administration's project office and is aimed at supporting anti-corruption initiatives in quasi-public sector organisations.
The events were attended by employees of Almatyelectrotrans LLP, including HR specialists and a compliance officer.
The main focus was on practical issues of organising anti-corruption work within the enterprise. Participants were explained the requirements of anti-corruption legislation, approaches to the implementation of preventive mechanisms, methods of identifying and managing corruption risks, as well as issues of forming a culture of zero tolerance for corruption.
During the discussion, typical situations that employees encounter in their daily activities were considered, and practical solutions were proposed, taking into account the specifics of the organisation's work.
It was noted that such events contribute to the strengthening of internal anti-corruption mechanisms and the formation of transparent and sustainable management processes.
