The meeting was attended by representatives of the Central Asian Recycling Agency and Technic Destroy LLP (First Recycling), the only lithium-ion battery and electronic waste recycling plant in Central Asia.
During the discussion, the parties discussed:
♻️ Prospects for developing a battery and electronic waste collection system;
♻️ Environmental education for the public;
♻️ The possibility of placing collection points at public facilities;
♻️ Mechanisms for engaging children and youth through a bonus system and environmental initiatives.
Particular attention was paid to fostering a culture of separate waste collection and the need for informational support for environmental projects.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to launch a joint, no-cost pilot project, and the prospects for trilateral cooperation within the city's environmental initiatives were discussed.
In addition, it is planned to conduct an introductory tour of the processing plant and further develop the project concept, taking into account the Taza Kazakhstan programs and initiatives within the framework of the AMANAT Party Roadmap.
