Participants of the blog tour were presented with new large buses, which will be launched in Almaty on the 19th route (Athletic Village - Mkd. Kazakhfilm). These buses are assembled from European components and can accommodate more than 110 passengers. Their main feature is the convenience for the disabled: they are low-floor, there is a folding ladder, as well as a system of forced tilting of the body for the arrival of a wheelchair, which can now be fixed in the cabin.

Then bloggers visited the dispatch service of the Transport Holding in Almaty, which was launched back in 2010. Each unit of public transport today is equipped with a GPS sensor, which in real time transmits data about the pattern of traffic, violations and allows dispatchers to make adjustments to the movement of each bus and trolleybus. If the bus is idle at the driver's initiative, you can report it by phone: +7 727 397 01 97 .
Today, there are 1,560 public transport units (TU) in Almaty, 100% equipped with GPS. The length of dedicated lanes for TU has increased by 3.5 times since 2015 to 110 km, and the number of stops has increased by 64% to 1,810 units since 2016.

The bike paths are 81.6 km long. According to the AlmatyBike bike rental system, the number of cyclists has increased by 63% to 7,382 in three years, with a total travel length of 1,229,666 km during this period.

The next point of the blog-tour was the Center for Operational Management (COM) of the Almaty Interior Ministry, whose task is to control the operational situation of the city and manage the outfits that ensure law and order on the streets. Every day, each COM operator processes more than 100 messages. In order to speed up and improve the quality of work with the population, a 2-shift schedule (12 hours) was introduced, and the number of employees in the shift was increased to 14.
On one of the walls of the COM installed monitors, which receive images from the city's CCTV cameras. Photo/video information will also come from buses, which are installed system «ZHOLAK» that will reduce the number of pocket thefts.

The innovations also touched on the internal process - now criminal cases are digitized - it saves space for archives, time to address requests and get answers to them. The sanction of the courts can be obtained electronically, court hearings are held by video link, without taking suspects from the detention court to court. In general, the electronic format has accelerated decision-making, improved the protection of the rights of participants in the process and minimized corruption risks.
