Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was informed about the activities of the Digital Geoinformation Center, the Almaty General Plan Research Institute, the Almaty Development Center, and the Open Almaty public reception.
The head of state familiarized himself with the plans for further urban development and inspected the holographic layout of the city in the 3D projection form.
The President of Kazakhstan was also informed about the implementation of major infrastructure projects in the Almaty Industrial Area. 39 projects for 144 billion tenge are implemented here, 5,000 jobs have been created at the expense of Japanese, Korean, Chinese, German and other foreign investments.
In particular, the industrial zone houses the following facilities: Hyundai Trans Kazakhstan LLP, Falcon Euro Bus electric bus factory, Tokyo Rope Almaty LLP, manufacturing, food and light industries, and waste-sorting complex.
As a result of the visit, the Head of State gave a number of instructions for the development of the city of Almaty.
