Representatives of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, executive director Raymond Yip and regional Europe manager Kevin Ho, visited the Public Reception Office of Almaty.
During the meeting, the Deputy Chairman of the Board-Head of the Open Almaty Center, Zhanna Asanova, spoke about the main activities of the center, about the state agencies providing services.
«The ‘Almaty Open’ project is young, we opened in September. Any citizen can get advice from the Public Reception through the front office, online, and through a call center. We provide advice and legal assistance to business as well, in case of problematic situations, and if necessary, the appeals of entrepreneurs are forwarded for consideration to the relevant authorities,» said Asanova in her greeting.
«The project is interesting, it is a very good service for residents, one-window service. In Hong Kong, this function is performed by the Trade Council. This is a good opportunity for foreign entrepreneurs to find partners and we look forward to further cooperation. We see Kazakhstan as a very important partner in the «One Belt, One Road» project, which also involves Hong Kong. We can work together to develop the infrastructure project of the city of Almaty, attract investors from China to your city,» said Raymond Yip, Executive Director of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council.
