State officials of the Karaganda region visited the public reception of the Almaty mayor's office «OpenAlmaty» in order to study experience. The delegation included deputy mayors of cities, heads of departments, youth resource centers.
Open Almaty is an important tool in improving efficiency, transparency and accountability of state agencies. Each visitor to the public reception can receive advice and leave his appeal on issues within the competence of the offices of the mayor's office, the prosecutor's office, the Department of internal affairs, the Department of State Revenue, the Department of Emergency Situations, the «Government for Citizens» and the «Professional Mediators» Board.
During the meeting, the head of the public reception «OpenAlmaty» Nurlan Jailaubay spoke about the main activities, about the services provided here, the government agencies involved.
«Receiving appeals from the population is carried out in the front office, where representatives of the offices of the mayor's office, the Department of internal affairs, state revenues, emergency situations, the prosecutor's office, the CON are received in a cozy office. Our office is cozy, there is a playground, we can come with children. We work on the principle of «one window«, that is, a person can immediately solve different issues in one place, and not go to the authorities scattered throughout the city. No need to waste time on the road, get passes to buildings and other. Also, you can contact the reception at 1308, write online through the portal www.open-almaty.kz., » - said N. Jailaubay.
Civil servants became interested in the project, asked questions and received exhaustive answers to them.
