Opening of the «Center for Extrajudicial Reconciliation» in Open Almaty

On July 3, the Open Almaty Public Admissions Office hosted the opening of the «Center for Out-of-Court Reconciliation» of the Almaty City Court as part of the implementation of one of the Supreme Court's priority projects for the development of out-of-court institutions.
The opening ceremony was attended by The President of the City Court of Almaty Nurgazy Abdicanov, who noted: » The Strategy «Kazakhstan-2050» has a new political course for the established state. President of our country Nursultan Nazarbayev set the task to continue the development of institutions for out-of-court dispute settlement - restorative justice. The concept of the establishment of the Center provides citizens with interconnected services: from consulting, determining the category of dispute, selecting a mediator, conducting conciliation procedures to drawing up an agreement.»
The purpose of the opening was to popularize the peaceful settlement of disputes between the residents of the city, increase the legal culture of citizens and minimize their material and moral costs.
