Almaty City Development Center JSC has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Narkhoz University, expanding the format of interaction in the field of urban analytics, urban studies, digitalization and education.

The document provides for an institutional partnership aimed at practical support for the city, from conducting sociological research and annual measurements of the quality of life to developing AI solutions for the urban environment and implementing international methods for assessing the effectiveness of megacity development.

During the meeting, it was noted that Narkhoz actively cooperates with leading foreign universities, including Queen's University Belfast and the National University of Singapore, as well as cooperates with specialized centers of urban studies at New York University. This opens up opportunities for adapting the world's best practices in the fields of inclusion, healthcare, transport analytics, and strategic planning.

The parties expressed their willingness to launch pilot projects, develop a research culture, form measurable indicators of the city's development and build systematic work with educational institutions. Special attention is paid to the issues of sustainable development, environmental responsibility and the formation of a modern urban culture.

The signed Memorandum confirms the intention of the parties to combine academic expertise, international experience and practical mechanisms for the sustainable development of Almaty.
