Azamat Oinarov

Graduated from Novosibirsk State University with a degree in «Applied Mathematics«; Kazakh State Law Academy, «Lawyer» degree.

He has «Technical sciences candidate» degree in «Information Technology«, Associate Professor of Economics (Docent).

In the period from 1992 to 1994 he was a researcher at the Economic Research Institute of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 1994 to 1996, he worked as a specialist at the State Export-Import Bank and CJSC «Almaty Trade and Financial Bank«.

From 1997 to 1998 he held the position of Deputy Chairman at JSC «Tsesnabank«.

From 1998 to 1999 he served as Deputy Chairman at the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Economic Planning.

From 1999 to 2001 he was the head of a department in the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2001 to 2003, he was Deputy Chairman at the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the regulation of natural monopolies, protection of competition.

From 2003 to 2006 he was Vice Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2007 to 2009 he was Vice Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, responsible for Economics and Finance.

From 2010 to 2013 he held the position of Financial Director at «TAСK Holding«.

From 2014 to 2019 he served as Chairman at JSC «Kazakhstan PPP Center«.

Since 2020, he has been a guest lecturer at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Since August 15, 2022, he has been elected as a member of the Board of Directors at JSC «Almaty Development Center«.
