«Open Almaty» is a project of the Almaty Mayor's Office to solve life situations and provide services to the population. Each client of the public reception will be able to get advice and leave his appeal to the mayor's office, city offices, prosecutor's office, police, department of state revenues, etc. During a visit to the public reception, Almaty mayor Bauyrzhan Baybek noted that the new service for citizens will be an important tool in improving efficiency, transparency and accountability of state agencies.
Through the new city service on unregulated services, you can apply for your appeal or complaint to the public reception of the city, through the Internet portal of www.open-almaty.kz or by the number 1308.
Representatives of all district mayors, housing departments, employment and social protection, passenger transport, natural resources and architecture, the city prosecutor's office, the police, the Department of State Revenue, the DE, the PSC, the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, mediators will provide the front office of the public reception service. The management of the departments will hold receptions of citizens, presentations of city initiatives, etc.
It is worth noting that back in 2015, for the convenience of citizens, the mayor of Almaty opened his Instagram account, where in 3 clicks you can fix the problem and send it to the mayor's office. For 2 years, the permanent audience on Instagram made 150,000 subscribers, executed about 20,000 appeals of citizens.
The schedule of the new city service is based on the working hours of the citizens and will provide services from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
